Activities & Schedule

**ALL activities may not be offered every year**

While at Camp Coleman, campers participate in a wide variety of athletic, recreational, cultural, and creative activities. All of our activities seek to strike a balance between skill development and personal enjoyment, and constant effort is made to meet the needs and wants of the campers.

The quality of the Camp Coleman experience is second to none. Each camper receives personalized attention from enthusiastic counselors and expert instruction from passionate specialty staff in in a wide variety of athletic, recreational, cultural, and creative activities.

Bonim & Kochavim (entering 3rd-5th grade) campers travel throughout the day with a group from their unit on a preset schedule, and Solelim – Chalutzim (entering 6th-10th grade) campers travel throughout the day to activities that they select themselves twice during the session. This ensures group bonding and a well-rounded summer.  All campers also get one period of Chofesh “free-time” daily where they choose what activities to go to. During this time, campers may also choose to relax in our quiet Sukkah and in other public places around camp. This provides our campers with the opportunity to try something new, or pursue what they are passionate about with more time and instruction.

Camp Coleman’s highly experienced staff work with campers to promote skill-building, teamwork, friendship, and fun. We constantly encourage campers to take on challenges, explore new interests, and develop talents.
