The final day of MAC in Time had finally arrived, and from the moment campers walked into the Chadar for breakfast, there was an excitement in the air unlike any other. Everyone knew this was it—the final day to leave it all on the field, cheer louder than ever before, and make memories that would last long after the summer ended.
Following breakfast, the Red and Blue Teams headed off to their final team meetings to prepare for one of the most anticipated events of MAC: Marathon. Team captains rallied their campers one last time, final strategies were discussed, cheers echoed through camp, and every camper did their part to make sure their team was ready. The excitement was contagious as campers put the finishing touches on posters, practiced chants, and built up the energy before the day’s biggest challenge.
Then it was time.
The sound of cheers filled Camp Coleman as Marathon officially began. Campers raced from challenge to challenge, running all across camp while completing games, puzzles, physical challenges, and team competitions. Every station earned valuable points, and every teammate encouraged one another to keep pushing forward. Whether campers were sprinting between activities, solving challenges together, or cheering from the sidelines, the entire camp was buzzing with excitement.
As Marathon reached its thrilling finale, everyone gathered inside the Brody for the moment they had all been waiting for. Representing each team, a Kesher camper took on the final running challenge, racing back and forth in an incredible display of determination while their teammates erupted with nonstop cheers. The energy was electric as campers jumped, screamed, and encouraged every step.
Then came the iconic final moment.
A Chalutzim camper from each team stepped onto the court for the legendary half-court shot. The entire camp fell silent for just a moment before erupting again with every attempt. With campers holding their breath, the Blue Team sank the winning shot, securing the Marathon victory in dramatic fashion, while the Red Team finished just behind after an incredible effort.
After an action-packed morning, everyone gathered together for lunch before enjoying a well-earned Menucha, giving campers a chance to rest, recharge, and reflect before one final celebration awaited.
That afternoon, the Harris Center transformed into a sea of red and blue as campers poured inside with incredible ruach, waving signs, chanting team cheers, and creating an atmosphere unlike anything else at camp. The excitement was impossible to contain as everyone prepared for the final event of MAC.
One by one, each team took the stage to present their Entrance performances. Through creative storytelling, energetic dancing, hilarious skits, and incredible teamwork, the Red and Blue Teams brought the story of MAC in Time to life while showcasing the values that had guided them throughout the week. Months—or what felt like months—of excitement built toward these unforgettable performances, and every camper on stage gave it everything they had.
Following the performances, each team proudly presented their Alma Mater and unveiled the plaques they had worked so hard to create throughout the week. These meaningful traditions highlighted not only each team’s creativity, but also the friendships, pride, and memories they had built together during MAC.
The Team Captains then took the stage to deliver heartfelt speeches, reflecting on the week they had shared and thanking their teammates for their spirit, encouragement, and dedication. It was a powerful reminder that while competition fuels MAC, community is what makes it truly special.
Behind the scenes, the Tie-Dye Team worked quickly to calculate every point earned throughout the week. While campers anxiously waited to hear the results, the Camp Coleman office staff surprised everyone with their very own mini MAC competition. Divided into the hilarious teams of the Drumsticks and the Chicken Schnitzels, the office staff took the stage to perform their own Alma Mater, filling the Harris Center with laughter and giving campers one last moment of fun before the big announcement.
Finally, the lights dimmed.
The characters who had kicked off MAC in Time earlier in the week returned to the stage one final time. The anticipation grew with every second until suddenly, blue streamers and celebration erupted across the Harris Center as members of the Blue Team rushed onto the stage. The Blue Team had won MAC in Time!
The room exploded with cheers, hugs, celebration, and endless Camp Coleman spirit. While one team celebrated the victory, both the Red and Blue Teams had created something far more meaningful than a final score. Throughout the week, campers encouraged one another, stepped outside their comfort zones, built friendships across every age group, and demonstrated the teamwork, leadership, and ruach that define Camp Coleman.
As another unforgettable MAC came to a close, campers walked away with tired voices, sore muscles, countless memories, and stories they’ll be telling for years to come. Because while every MAC ends with a winning team, everyone leaves having been part of something truly unforgettable
