2016 marks 25 years that Bobby Harris has served as Camp Coleman’s beloved Director. Bobby’s vision for Camp Coleman, his leadership, warmth and compassion for young people has made him one of the truly outstanding camp directors in all of North America. Bobby is admired and respected by his peers in the field. When accompanying Bobby on a walk through camp, every camper encountered wants a high five as Bobby adds words of encouragement and knows the personal story and journey of so many of the campers and staff. It is a thrill to witness a professional who is deeply dedicated to his work and the emotional, physical and spiritual welfare of every camper and staff member. At camp you see the product of his kindness and caring, you see young lives shaped and transformed by a great educator and mensch. Congratulations to Bobby for 25 wonderful years.
