1970s Alumni Reunion Weekend

1970s Colemanites Micah Greenstein and Nancy Ellison Handler will once again be working closely with current staff to plan a memorable and meaningful experience at camp to relive the summers of our lives.

Registration closes: July 3, 2026
Accommodations are first come, first serve.

About the Weekend

The 1970s Alumni Reunion Weekend is your chance to come back to Camp Coleman and spend a full weekend reliving the memories that made those summers so special. If you were a camper or staff member in the 1970s, this is an opportunity to reconnect with old bunkmates, walk familiar paths, sing familiar songs, and settle back into the place where it all happened.

What do you remember most?
Song sessions? Shabbat Walk? Coffee House? Maccabiad? Lake Shalom? Late night conversations on the porch? This weekend brings all of it back in a way that feels comfortable, communal, and full of joy.

Over the course of the weekend, alumni will gather for shared meals, meaningful Shabbat experiences, classic camp activities, time by the lake, and plenty of unstructured time to catch up, reminisce, and make new memories together. The pace is relaxed and welcoming, with space for both group moments and quiet conversations.

Your registration includes lodging at camp with fellow alumni, linens, all meals and snacks, beverages, a tshirt, and weekend programming. Once you arrive, everything is taken care of so you can fully enjoy being back at Coleman.

We promise you will not need to take a swim test in Lake Shalom to participate in the 1970s Camp Coleman Alumni Reunion Weekend.
