Participation in any of the programs mentioned above requires an official acceptance into the Machon program based on one’s application and interview.  These Machon Applications will be available in mid-October; howeverif you are interested in  Machon-Israel be sure to sign up for this Israel trip as soon as possible so that you are eligible to receive up to $4000 in discounts.

Can a Machon-Israel Summer Adventure participant take part in only the 2nd session Israel portion of the program and not participate in the 1st session Coleman component of the program?

No. The Machon-Israel program is a full-summer program and participants are required to attend Camp Coleman 1st session and travel to Israel with Coleman 2nd session.

Does the Machon-Israel Summer Adventure trip require a deposit?

Yes, a $500 administrative fee is required in which $250 is non-refundable and $250 is refundable until March 1. If an applicant is not accepted into the Machon program, the deposit will be refunded.

Is there a limit on how many participants can be accepted into Machon-Israel Summer Adventure?

Because of the evolving situation in which we find ourselves due to Covid 19, we may need to establish some limits. We will strive to accommodate all teens who wish to participate and will be better able to accommodate those who register earliest.

How will Machon-Israel Summer Adventure participants travel from camp to the Newark, NJ airport to connect with their trans-Atlantic flight to Israel?

Camp Coleman will transport the Machon-Israel participants to Atlanta and the teens will fly together from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to the group departure airport. Our Coleman staff will coordinate domestic flight arrangements and be in contact with families at the appropriate time. Families are responsible for paying the domestic flights.
