    We truly did have a terrific summer 2018 season that included serving 848 campers from 16 states, 3 additional countries (Israel, Germany, Mexico) and 80 unique Reform congregations.  In addition to our regular spirited song sessions, exhilarating ultimate frisbee games, challenging canoe and whitewater adventures, we offered new activities, including circus arts, podcasting, and ukulele lessons.

  • Summer 2018 In Review

    “My son had an amazing first summer month away experience at Camp Coleman. He enjoyed each activity, had great counselors, made wonderful friends, looked forward to Shabbat, and came home with exciting stories to tell and fun songs to sing. My son is one of only two Jewish people in his elementary school, so being in a place where everyone is Jewish was a special experience for him. We as parents could not be happier.”

  • Kesher Program Update 2nd Session

    They then had 20 minutes to create and build their societies with details including what they do for fun, how they communicate, how they get around, their customs, their holidays, and any other cool little details they could think up. The campers came up with things like "our national instrument is the...", and "we only talk using hand motions and claps".

  • Nachshonim Program Update 2nd Session

    For example, campers would have to "find someone who represents kavod (respect)" or "find someone who works in the Minsky (art building)", and they would then have to fill in their name on the slip of paper and move on to the next.

    My very favorite thing about being the Jewish Cooking Specialist is getting to connect with the campers. It doesn’t get much better than good conversation and good food. I love seeing the satisfaction in their eyes and smiles.
