Solelim means trailblazers, and our goal at camp is to guide each camper to be the best trailblazer they can be. By focusing on the Jewish values of Chesed (kindness), Kavod (respect), Kehilah (community), and Shalom (peace), we are able to guide these campers in their transition from elementary to middle school. This year, our amazing programmers created a form asking each camper about their interests and what programs they would like to participate in. The programs are tailored to the group of campers we have this session to make each activity amazing and fun.

Some examples of programs we have had so far are: Mad Science, Finger-painting, and Alien Fashion Night, as well as some Camp Coleman classics like Gaga for Gaga, Battle of the Bunks, and Jeopardy. There are many more programs to come, and so much excitement for each one! In Solelim, campers sign up for two-week periods for their activities. In our second round of activities, campers are creating mosaics, glazing pottery, perfecting their archery skills, and so much more. We are so excited for the rest of this session and can’t wait to see the amazing things each camper does!
