At Camp Coleman, kindness isn’t just a value we talk about; it’s something we live and breathe every day. This Camp Kindness Day, we want to celebrate some of the incredible acts of kindness that have made our camp community shine.
Adeline Habgood’s Heartfelt Swim for Scholarship Funds
Adeline Habgood, from Machon Adventure ’24, embodies the spirit of giving. Inspired by the Fill My Bunk campaign to raise money for our scholarship fund, Adeline decided to take action. She combined her love for swimming with her desire to give back by swimming 1500 meters across Lake Carroll in Tampa. With the support of her sister, Alice (Kesher ’24), Adeline raised $500 from friends and family. Her dedication and passion are true examples of kavod, chessed, and care for our kehillah kedosha. Thank you, Adeline, for your positivity and kindness!

Jordi Ahlzadeh: Going the Extra Mile
Jordi Ahlzadeh has been a beacon of kindness all week. During nikayon on Thursday, he helped his bunk mates with their jobs and even asked his counselors if there was anything extra he could do. Jordi, your willingness to go above and beyond is truly appreciated.
Chalutzim Unit: Role Models of Kindness
The Chalutzim unit has been incredible role models, showing loving-kindness and respect to their new Bonim buddies. Watching them create a new community with their buddies through activities like making candy sushi, playing tag, and dancing to music was beautiful. Thank you, Chalutzim, for your leadership and kindness.
