Camp Jenny 2025: A Journey Through Imagination, Growth & Joy
Camp Jenny 2025 was more than a weekend—it was an emotional journey of growth, connection, and imagination.
Over Memorial Day Weekend, 100 elementary school students arrived at Camp Coleman to discover a new kind of world: one inspired by Inside Out, lovingly reimagined as Inside Camp Jenny. Guided by four core values—Cherish Life’s Memories, Step Outside Your Comfort Zone, Explore the Path to Self-Discovery, and Let Your Imagination Run Wild—campers embarked on a journey through:
- 🏝 Memory Island
- 🧗 Exploration Island
- 🌱 Growth Island
- 🎨 Imagination Island
Each “island” inspired a different set of creative programs and transformative moments. Campers explored water play, ropes courses, cooking, science, music, nature, and arts & crafts—each activity helping build resilience, identity, and joy.
A special highlight of the weekend was welcoming Dr. McIntyre, the new principal of our partner school, who not only joined us for the weekend—but also braved the zip line, leading by courageous example!
This year’s magic would not have been possible without the extraordinary leadership of Camp Jenny Co-Directors Madison Cauff (NFTY-STR) and Alexa Fishman (NFTY-SAR). Their dedication, creativity, and thoughtful preparation empowered every volunteer to step confidently into their roles—from teen counselors and SITs to adult RAs, media staff, specialists, mentors, logistics crew, security, and more.
To our adult volunteers, thank you for giving your time, your love, and your energy. To our teen staff, thank you for your leadership, warmth, and spirit. Camp Jenny thrives because you show up and give it your all.
And finally—to our campers: your bravery, laughter, and pure joy—especially flying down the water slide or splashing in the sunshine—reminded us what Camp Jenny is all about.
