This week in Taste of Coleman 2 was all about energy, imagination, and connection. From silly songs to peaceful hikes, our campers embraced the magic of camp life with wide eyes and full hearts.

Each night, the group created a bedtime ritual that quickly became a highlight of the week. After a full day of adventure, campers gathered to sing a song they made up about fireflies, listen to a bedtime story, and join Unit Head Rachel for Sh’mashkiveinu. It wasn’t just calming—it felt like camp’s version of a lullaby.

One of the sweetest surprises of the week? Cookies and milk at Amy’s house. There’s just something about a late-night snack in a cozy space that makes everyone feel like family.

While other units were off on trip day, TOC 2 had a mini wilderness adventure of their own. They went hiking and fishing with Todd Gordon and came back with muddy shoes, big grins, and stories to spare.

What stood out the most, though, was the way this group showed up for each other. Whether during a hike, snack time, or lights-out, they made sure no one felt left out. Every camper was welcomed, included, and valued—and that’s the real Camp Coleman magic.
