Our oldest campers took their leadership on the road this week, traveling across state lines for a jam-packed trip full of exploration, teamwork, and memories that’ll last way beyond the summer. From underground waterfalls to high-flying zip lines, from volunteer projects to thrill rides — this crew brought the energy, the curiosity, and (let’s be honest) the best snack stashes.

One of the biggest highlights? Whitewater rafting at a brand-new location for Coleman (sadly, this location does not photograph their raft adventures). Between paddling through rapids and cheering each other on, it was the kind of unforgettable experience that pushed comfort zones and brought the group even closer together. And later, under the bright lights of a hometown baseball game, Chalutzim got loud, proud — and lucky. We walked away with a big win and even bigger smiles.

They also gave back along the way, volunteering with a local conservation group and engaging in meaningful learning at The Butterfly Project. And when it came time to let loose? Roller coasters, movie nights, pool parties, and plenty of pizza had them living the dream.

Back at camp, the energy didn’t dip. From a legendary frisbee showdown to a full-on capture-the-flag battle, Chalutzim made the most of every evening — building bonds, showing spirit, and reminding us all why they lead the way.
