Day 2 of Despicable MAC! started off strong — literally. With the weather doing what it always does (a little dramatic), we kicked off the morning with a rescheduled Minion Muscle Match. Campers pulled, cheered, and gave it their all in a teamwide tug-of-war that set the tone for a full day of energy and determination.
After a quick Nikayon reset, campers jumped into Rotations 4 and 5, tackling challenges like Operation: Splashdown, Escape Vector’s Lair, and Jams & Jellies on the ropes course. Red and Blue teams are showing serious teamwork — and a little healthy chaos — as they try to guide their villain to the good side.
This afternoon brought a major plot twist with the much-anticipated Villain-Con Talent Show and Story Update #2. Campers brought music, comedy, dancing, and everything in between to the stage, helping their villain learn from the unique strengths and voices of their team. The second story installment revealed that redemption isn’t a straight line — and the Diamond of Community is still at risk.
The rest of the day is back on track, with team meetings, the Despicable Dash marathon relay, and tonight’s epic showdown: Dr. Nefario’s Inferno (Rope Burn). As the sun sets, we’ll find out just how far these villains are willing to go — and how hard our teams are willing to work — to save the Diamond.
