Nachshonim has been full of spirit, sweat, and song this week, and we’re here for it.
We kicked things off with a strong sporty streak—our campers faced off against Kesher in an intense frisbee game and walked away with a win (and let’s be honest, some very proud grins). We kept the momentum going with World Cup Night, where campers repped countries from around the globe and showed off their team pride in friendly competition. And just when we thought it couldn’t get cooler, actual Maccabi athletes visited camp to teach us skills and share what it takes to compete at the highest level. Needless to say, Nachshonim showed up and showed out.
But the week wasn’t only about high-energy games. Nachshonim also had the honor of leading our unit service, and it was nothing short of magical. Campers stepped into every role—from playing guitar and leading prayers, to creating artwork that brought the service theme to life. Several campers even shared personal reflections about what prayer means to them. It was thoughtful, moving, and a beautiful reminder of the kind of leaders this unit is becoming.
From the fields to the stage, Nachshonim made this week unforgettable.
