This week in Bonim, curiosity met creativity, and camp friendships blossomed in all the best ways. As we welcomed our 2-week Bonim campers, it didn’t take long for the unit to feel whole. Our returning campers took the lead, jumping right into classic Coleman traditions—like teaching their new friends how to make beady babies and start their first lanyards. Watching them pass down the magic of these timeless camp crafts was a perfect reminder of how strong our youngest campers can be when they feel empowered.

Bonim also had their share of big moments this week. Trip Day took our 4-week Bonimers to Lake Lanier, where they splashed, slid, and soaked up every minute of adventure and sunshine. Whether they were racing down the water slides or sharing snacks under a shady tree, our campers created memories that will stick with them long after the summer ends. Our Bonim 2-weekers had camp all to themselves—and they made every moment count. They explored new spots, bonded with new friends, got creative in art, and shot hoops on the court.

And then came Super Sloppy—Bonim’s favorite excuse to get wildly messy and laugh until it hurts. Covered in everything from shaving cream to pudding, they dove into the chaos with passion and joy. It was messy, it was silly, and it was absolutely unforgettable.

Throughout the week, Bonim showed us just how deeply connected they’re becoming—not just to each other, but to the rhythms and spirit of Coleman. Their inquisitive questions during activities, their creative energy in the bunk, and their willingness to welcome new friends with open arms made this a week to remember. We can’t wait to see what magic they’ll create next.
