Kesher has been getting up to lots of fun and challenging activities these past couple of weeks! From making jewelry in metals to blobbing each other at the lake, our kiddos are truly making the most of their summer. This round of Kesher campers loves a good competition, so we have been keeping that fire burning with evening programs such as Wacky Olympics, Survivor, and Battle of the Bunks. But don’t worry, they get silly too. Programs like Super Sloppy and Kindergarten Night bring lots of mess and lots of giggles.
Last week, our campers had the incredible opportunity to go on the overnight Kesher trip. They got to overcome fears and experience new things as they zip-lined, conquered an insane ropes course, and, of course, went white water rafting. Most importantly, this trip gave our campers the chance to form stronger bonds with each other and make unforgettable memories. (You could say they put the connection in Kesher.)
And the fun isn’t over yet! Stay tuned for the excitement of MAC, the jamming at Coleman Rocks, and the drama of the play! (I personally cannot wait to see our campers’ hard work pay off in The Lion King Jr.) It’s been such a pleasure getting to know these kids. As the summer comes to a close, we hope they remember to take in every moment and live each day to its fullest.
