There’s something special about the way Kesher shows up for each other. This week, that spirit came through loud and clear during our campfire evening program. After some songs and time together as a full unit, we ended early so each cabin could spend intentional time bonding. Most bunks went stargazing — lying in the grass, pointing out constellations, and soaking up the quiet. It was one of those simple, magical moments that feel like pure camp.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a week at camp without some classic weather curveballs, but Kesher took every change in stride. Whether services were in Hillman, Strauss, or the Harris Center, campers stayed engaged, respectful, and full of ruach — many even jumping up to dance no matter the location. It’s that kind of spirit that makes our unit feel grounded and resilient, even when the skies aren’t clear.

We also kicked off our rotations this week, which means some campers are now hard at work on their session-long art projects and shows. Whether they’re painting, building, or rehearsing, the creativity is flowing and the excitement is real. Creativity is blooming all around us, and the energy in Kesher is focused, joyful, and ready for what’s next.
