This week in Kochavim was filled with adventure, joy, and more energy than a s’more has sugar.

One of our most memorable moments was our cozy campfire night, where each camper shared their “lollipop moments”—the sweet highlights from the past week. With sticky fingers and full hearts, the unit bonded over the big and small joys that made this week special.

Kochavim also took part in Yom Kehillah, a full day dedicated to building community and giving back. Our campers dove into meaningful service projects and came away with a deeper understanding of what it means to contribute to something greater than themselves. The day wrapped up with the Machon Carnival, a silent disco, and games on the Lower Athletic Field—aka pure camper bliss.

We’d be remiss not to give a shoutout to Leah and Halley, who took it upon themselves to sweep the Camp Jenny Lounge before an activity. That act of kavod (respect) set the tone for the whole group and reminded us just how powerful small moments of kindness can be.

From sticky s’mores to sweeping floors, Kochavim showed up for each other this week—and we can’t wait to see what magic comes next.
