This week in Solelim, the vibe was loud, silly, and full of sunshine (even when the sky said otherwise). Our campers brought the energy—and then some.
One of the highlights? Super Sloppy Night was a gooey, giggly mess in the best way. Campers dove right in, no hesitation. Later in the week, Solelim crushed Field Day, where the whole unit split into teams for tug-of-war, wheelbarrow races, a wild water brigade, and more. Let’s just say: things got competitive and hilarious.
When a summer storm tried to rain on our plans, we didn’t skip a beat. Instead of our original evening program, we pivoted to a Silent Disco—and Solelim danced like no one was watching (and sang like everyone could hear, headphones or not).
There’s also been no shortage of heart this week. Any time a camper felt a little off or homesick, their Solelim friends rallied around them. These moments of quiet kindness are the ones that stick—the way campers lift each other up and pull each other in.
From messy nights to impromptu dance parties, Solelim is showing up for each other and making the most of every moment.
