Chalutzim had a fun and exciting week filled with energy, laughter, and meaningful moments. One of the most memorable highlights was our epic pool party. A camper from our unit took over as DJ and absolutely crushed it—everyone was dancing, splashing, and enjoying the sunshine. When severe weather rolled in and we had to leave the pool, we didn’t let it stop the fun. We picked everything up and moved the party into the Brody, where the dancing and good vibes continued without missing a beat.
Earlier in the week, we got to spend time with our Bonim buddies during mandops. It was a great chance to bond with the youngest campers, and our whole unit leaned into the experience. The best moment was making chocolate pita together—everyone got a little messy, but it was full of laughter, teamwork, and genuine connection.
We also had a really meaningful campfire night. We circled up to sing songs, roast s’mores, and share our wishes for the rest of the session. Some campers opened up with thoughtful reflections, while others kept the mood light with jokes and stories. We even had time for a spontaneous game of Frisbee in the field. It was the perfect blend of calm, connection, and camp-style fun.
