Despicable MAC! Day 2 Update – Tug, Talent & Turning Points
Day 2 of Despicable MAC started with an early morning tug-of-war, followed by rotations, talent show performances, and a dramatic story update. The Redemption Challenge is heating up — and tonight’s Rope Burn could change everything.

Area Highlight: LaB – Learning and Belonging
At Coleman, LaB stands for Learning and Belonging—and Solelim brought both in full force. From kindness rays to chesed elephants, their inventions during Snappy Tank reminded us that compassion is camp’s most powerful creation.

What is Nikayon?
At Camp Coleman, Nikayon is our daily clean-up time. Campers take pride in keeping their space tidy and supporting their bunkmates, all while working toward the ultimate prize: Blizzards from Dairy Queen for the top-scoring cabin

Solelim Steps Up: A Week of Chesed, Courage, and Connection
From messy fun to meaningful leadership, Solelim’s week was packed with connection. We explored courage in LaB, led a standout service, visited Amy’s house for candy and convo, and ended with an all-in Super Sloppy night. Goofy? Yes. Amazing? Definitely.

Despicable MAC! Day 1 Update – The Mission Begins
Color War has broken — and it’s Despicable! Today at Camp Coleman, we launched into Despicable MAC! with a surprise takeover in the chadar filled with minions, music, and madness. Campers have joined either Team Red (guiding Scarlet Overkill) or Team Blue (working with Balthasar Brat) on a mission to save the legendary Diamond of Community — and maybe redeem a villain along the way. The Redemption Challenge has begun, and the energy is off the charts.

Kochavim Shined Bright This Week!
Kochavim had a week full of exploration and adventure! From the MOO-chon carnival to leading a heartfelt service, our campers are shining in every way — including quiet acts of kindness like picking up trash after Yom Kehillah.

Yom Kehillah: A Day Devoted to Community
Campers came together for our first-ever Yom Kehillah, a day of service, fun, and community spirit—from hands-on projects to the unforgettable MOO-chon Carnival (dunk tank and all).

Chalutzim: Big Adventures & Bigger Bonding
From whitewater rapids to winning a baseball game, Chalutzim spent the week exploring new places, bonding as a unit, and living their leadership out loud. Back at camp, they kept the momentum going with epic evening games and nonstop energy.

Bonim Brings the Ruach
Bonim welcomed new campers, made waves at Lake Lanier, and began preparing for their very first T’fillah service. They’re stepping up with creativity, kindness, and spirit—and showing us all that leadership starts young.

A Shabbat Full of Light and Song
From shofar to song session, this Shabbat at Coleman was filled with sunshine, music, and meaningful moments. We celebrated milestone birthdays, welcomed faculty families to lead blessings, and reflected on bravery and joy in every corner of camp — including a sweet Shalva moment you’ll want to read about.
