IMPORTANT TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS

Arrival & Departure Information

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE 

  • If you have your own transportation to and from camp, please fill out the travel form (details below) indicating that. 
  • If you are flying and need transportation to the airport to and from camp, please follow these flight parameters:
    • Please schedule your arrival times between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM EST on your arrival date and your departure at 2:00 PM EST or later, unless otherwise approved by Lauren Gordon. You will be contacted by camp to coordinate being picked up by a driver and brought to camp.

TRANSPORTATION FORM: Please promptly complete the updated travel form in your  Camp InTouch account to ensure a smooth arrival.

 

IMPORTANT FORMS INSTRUCTIONS

If you have children attending camp, this should be familiar. You will see your child’s name next to your name. Your forms are now available in your CampInTouch account. 

There will be MANY forms displayed in your account – not all are relevant for guests. The required forms for guests are: Staff Transportation, Health History, Medical 2025-Authorization to Treat, and Medical 2025-Insurance Cards.

CampInTouch Login Information

  - Use your email address as your username to log in to your CampInTouch account. 
  - If you’ve forgotten your password, click “retrieve/set password.”

 

Using Campanion App

  - Download Campanion app on your iPhone or Android 
  - Snap a photo of the form using the app.
  - Upload the photo directly in the app.
  - Uploaded forms will appear in your CampInTouch account.

If you have not yet signed your employment agreement and paperwork, please do so now. If you have not yet received it, you will be receiving it soon. 

 

PRE CAMP TRAINING

Because we are a summer camp with children, we have strict training requirements about all adults living at camp. This training should be completed prior to your arrival at camp. 

This year we are using a new platform to us through a website called Cvent. Below you will find instructions.

        • She teaches about abuse prevention, health boundaries, and creating a safe environment for all in camp.

      • REDI  
        •  This REDI (Racial Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) training will help staff recognize the need for awareness on this topic as well as the expectations of behavior from everyone in our community.

    • Keshet Training 
      • During this training we will focus on building shared vocabulary and awareness around LGBTQ+ identities and identifying ways in which they can build a community of equality and belonging for LGBTQ+ people.
      • Live on May 14th from 7:00PM – 8:30PM 
      • We understand that with the time zones of our many staff from all over the world, that if you can’t make it, the video will be in the “On Demand” area to watch the next day.  
CampSafe
  • CampSafe is an online, asynchronous training program that covers abuse prevention, harassment prevention, boundaries, and youth protection. All staff must take the CampSafe training prior to working in URJ camps and programs.  
  • You will receive a separate email from “BeKidSafe” with your username and password, plus instructions on how to access the course to start. 
  • Once you’ve completed and passed the course, you do not need to do anything with the certificate, the platform lets us know you’ve finished.  
  • For those who completed CampSafe from previous summers, you will need to complete again. If you don’t remember your password, you can click to reset your password and begin the course.
