Our brand-new Courageous Warrior Course is a big hit! Campers are pushing their limits racing up the Warped Wall, learning how to lashe, and creating obstacle courses of their own on our Parkour Course. Every unit in camp will visit the course at least once, and campers in Solelim, Tsofim, Nachshonim, Kesher, and Chalutzim can sign up for it as an Etgar elective. We are also holding weekly Courageous-Palooza Tfillah, and are open for business during Mandatory Optionals each Shabbat.

In other Etgar news, we are planting loads of vegetables and learning how to take care of chickens with Sasha in the garden, and Nature Jayme is teaching how to build a campfire and cook damper bread (an Australian treat!). Campscape Crafts campers are making God’s Eyes and cinnamon basil cookies, and in Archery they are popping balloons and aiming for playing cards. Zohar and Amit, our amazing Israeli Scouts, shared chocolate pita with the entire camp during Mandatory Optionals last weekend, and will be making shakshuka later this week. Campers are looking forward to a Krav Maga tournament (coming soon!), and an opportunity to try out our Gravity Zip Line on the Ropes Course.

We are having a great time at Etgar!
