The Nachshonim were engaged and creative all week long, diving headfirst into fun and thoughtful activities that let their personalities shine.
One of the highlights? Our “Silly Shark Tank” challenge. Campers split into groups and pitched over-the-top solutions to classic camp problems—from soggy shoes to bunk bed drama. Spoiler alert: none of them are coming to stores near you, but they had us all laughing. In Jewish Values Lab, they took it up a notch, writing and performing original raps about how we live out our camp values every day. Turns out, Nachshonim have bars and big hearts.
A surprise rainstorm brought an unexpected twist midweek, but leave it to this crew to turn a delay into delight. We settled into the Brody, tossed around basketballs, and turned the thunder into background music for new friendships.
And the cutest moment of the week? A group of campers rehearsed—yes, rehearsed—their big reunion hug with a favorite counselor. Because around here, even hellos are done with heart.
Nachshonim showed up this week ready to think big, laugh hard, and spread joy. Let’s see what they come up with next.
